Steps to Setup Integration

Prepare Your Accounts & Credentials

Get everything you need in one place for a smooth setup. Before you begin, ensure you have the following ready. This preparation makes the connection process fast and secure.

• Admin Access:You will need administrator-level login credentials for the platforms you want to connect (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, your bank).
• List of Platforms:Identify all the apps, banks, and financial tools you plan to integrate.
• Security Details:Have your 2-factor authentication (2FA) device handy, as many services require this for secure linking.

Authorize & Connect Your First Platform

Get everything you need in one place for a smooth setup. Before you begin, ensure you have the following ready. This preparation makes the connection process fast and secure.

• A list of supported platforms will appear. Search for and select yourAccounting Software(e.g., QuickBooks Online).
• You will be securely redirected to the platform's login page. Enter your admin credentials and approve the connection.
• You'll be brought back to our dashboard, where you'll see a confirmation that"QuickBooks is Connected.

Configure Your Automation Rules

• This is the core of the integration. Set simple "if-this-then-that" rules to automate your workflow.
• Use a Pre-Built Template:Get started quickly with our library of common rules, like "Auto-categorize bank fees" or "Match Stripe payments to invoices
• If this (Trigger):Transaction Description contains "Netflix"
• Then that (Action):Categorize under "Subscriptions & Software

Run a Test Sync & Review Results

• Before going live, we strongly recommend a test to ensure your data flows as expected.
• Click the"Run Test Sync"button.
• The Automator will pull a small batch of recent historical data based on your rules.
• Navigate to the"Test Results"tab to review the data.
• Check that transactions were categorized correctly and that data appears in the right places in your connected apps.
